Ding-dong, no Dell!
What a mess! The order for my D830 was placed almost a month ago, with the expected delivery date 30 January. In the last two weeks, I’ve made one call to Dell to enquire about the shipment status, only to be told that I’d receive a return call. Nothing, of course.

Left it at that, then ran up to the Dell office yesterday to speak directly to the account executive. Though full payment was made on the day of ordering a month ago, Dell hasn’t even placed the order for the machine yet! An administrative oversight, or similar, I’ve been assured. They’ve promised another three weeks. You’ve gotta be joking! The order has been canceled, and I will make a new choice. Probably not a Dell…
