I was batteling for 6 hours to restore my Ipod to Version 2.2 when I finally realized why its not working…

When you do the restore use USB 2 not USB 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After connecting Ipod to USB 2 and trying restore I had no Issues. No I can download APPS!!! YAY!!!!
